SociPrime was born in 1997 under the name Sociaga. Since its inception the company has targeted the interface between producers and distributors, through a merchandising service.
With the growing evolution of the business, the desire arises to expand the company's operations to the north, with the opening of a new Sociprime delegation in Porto.
In January 2002 the company took on the new naming of the brand, SociPrime, which it maintains today. This change also allowed the brand to be repositioned in the market.
This year was marked by business growth, expansion of new offices and acquisition of the company's first warehouse.
On November 14, 2008, Sociprime decided to expand operations in the neighboring country (Spain), with the opening of a new delegation in Madrid.
The numbers that Sociprime achieved represent the success of the business: we reached 1000 employees in Portugal, we moved the offices to our current location with a new 2000m2 warehouse.
SociPrime celebrates 20 years in its locations in Portugal and Spain. At this time we have 2000 employees in Portugal and 500 fixed employees in Spain, 400 vehicles at the Iberian level and about 84000 weekly visits to points of sale.
The technological company Field Systems is born to reinforce the offer of customized Software solutions. In 2020 Sociprime presents a new brand and communication identity.
Founder and CEOGraduated in Law and with vast experience in the business sector, he started his professional activity at BCP Banking in the former Business Commerce area. His entrepreneurial spirit made him leave this area to become a founding partner of several companies. Eurocarisma (Panda Software), Sagatrade, Temporalis and Cantão Prime are some of the examples that preceded Sociprime. He is an avid reader and an enthusiast for history.
General ManagerHe studied electrical engineering, postgraduate in business management and human resources at the University of Bicocca Milan.He worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Business Account Manager and was General Manager at Pirelli. He joined SociPrime in 2003. He is a sports enthusiast who never misses his tee time.
